ICED CREAMY CHAI
2 spiced chai-flavored tea bags
1 cup boiling water
Ice cubes
1/2 cup cream, divided
2 cups cool water, divided
2 packets no calorie sweetener (or 2 tablespoons sucralose-based sugar substitute), divided
Ground cinnamon or nutmeg (optional)
1. Steep both tea bags in boiling water for about 4 minutes to brew 1 cup double-strength tea. Remove tea bags; refrigerate to cool.
2. Pour half of cooled tea (less than 1/2 cup) over ice in each of 2 tall glasses. Add 1/4 cup cream, 1 cup cool water and 1 packet sweetener to each glass; stir to combine.
Sprinkle with cinnamon just before serving.
Makes 2 servings.
